CROESO I BLWYDDYN 6 / WELCOME TO YEAR 6

Yes! You’ve made it! The final year of Rhiwbeina Primary School has arrived!  Over the next academic year, you will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of topics and extend your skills in preparation for High School. You will have the chance to...become guardians of the planet,  evacuees  in World War 2,  pirates sailing the Seven Seas,  medieval warriors fighting for Wales, and citizens of our future world.

There will also be opportunities to hold prominent positions on the School Council and Eco-Committees... be elected house and sports captains/vice captains, and be chosen as the school’s bard.

As part of our exciting topics, you will participate in a Year 6 election, devising your own political party. During the year you will debate, discuss, collaborate, persuade, experience and explore…

During the summer term, you are given the chance to visit the activity centre at Abernant to further develop your team building skills and independence, and have a lot of fun! 

To conclude a highly successful time at  Rhiwbeina Primary School, you will celebrate and share your many talents in the leavers’ concert.
