  • To take forward projects on behalf of the pupils
  • To be involved in planning of things like, the School Improvement Plan, governing body meetings and interviewing staff

Role

  • To act as a representative for fellow pupils and the school
  • Taking the lead in carrying out any projects on behalf of learners and staff
  • Ensuring that everyone in the school community is represented in the decision-making process
  • Providing a link between pupils, teachers, senior management team, governors and the whole school community

Our younger members of school council have got new playing equipment such as; Rackets Balls, Sling rackets, Stilts, Bounce boards and Skipping ropes.
Further meetings have been arranged with both the junior and the infant School Council to discuss a perfecting system and young leaders rota.

Our History:

Over the past few years our School Council have been responsible for setting up a variety of initiatives which have helped our school to run more effectively and efficiently. This is something we are very proud of! These are some of them:

  • SETTING UP THE PEER MEDIATION.
  • PREFECTING TO MAKE OUR SCHOOL SAFER AT BREAKTIME.
  • IMPROVED PLAYGROUND FACILITIES eg. CLIMBING WALL, HEALTHY SNACK BAR, ADVENTURE Trail…

Bins:

Also new bins have been put on the yard to make it more convenient and to reduce the likeliness of littering.

We are always on the lookout for people that can be involved in our litter squad, and help tidy up our playground.
